From designing jewelry to sewing garments, and even to interior decorating, Shannon Saint Clair was always passionate about creating art, which stems from childhood when her mother taught her how to sew at age five. During her school years, Shannon designed jewelry from seashells that she sold at local craft shows. Voted Most Artistic out of her high school Senior Class, Shannon graduated with a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Virginia in 1999.
Destined to turn her hobbies into a profession, she opened her first company, Jersey Couture LLC in 2003 in St. Louis, where her husband was a Rams player. She designed jerseys for other players’ wives to wear at the games because they wanted jerseys similar to the one she designed by cutting up a pair of her husband’s team workout shorts. In 2005 Shannon launched Lavish Couture LC embellishing & redesigning NFL jerseys and jackets sent to her by the Miami Dolphins & Chicago Bears wives.
When her husband signed with the Cleveland Browns, Shannon officially launched her couture jewelry collection in 2009 in addition to embellishing jerseys, establishing Shannon Saint Clair LLC. Her semi precious beaded gemstone jewelry was an instant hit with NFL players throughout the country. Over 100 celebrities, singers, actors, reality stars, beauty queens, and pro athletes, are photographed wearing her handcrafted couture jewelry. Shannon was interviewed live on NBC 6 In The Mix in January 2020 for the Jeans & Jackets Gala Fashion Show, where she launched her Royalty Collection Clothing Line. Former NFL Players modeled her men’s collection, as well as female and children models for the ladies and kidswear.

Basketball Wives L.A. also featured Shannon in an episode with her jewelry collection in 2012. In 2009, a Chicago production company wanted to film a reality tv season with the Chicago Bears wives & centered around Shannon's jersey & jewelry design business with her husband, but Shannon maintained keeping her personal life private away from tv. Shannon was also contacted to audition for a reality tv show featuring jewelry designer competitions. But the directors felt she was too nice & not going to be argumentative enough to stir up drama that they wanted to film.
